Meet Sweet V.

Suite V is the expression of Vanessa's personal and professional philosophy.

A Miami-born, second-generation Colombian, Vanessa trained at the Aveda Institute in Florida. After working at Aveda’s South Beach concept salon for two years, she moved to New York in 2008 to work as a stylist throughout Manhattan. Vanessa understands the importance of continued education and prides herself on keeping up with latest in hair trends and techniques.

Since 2014, she scaled her practice back to Brooklyn, a neighborhood she’s proud to call her home.

At the core of Vanessa’s practice are the relationships she has forged with her clients. From editorial inspired up do's to everyday wearable hair, Vanessa works with each client to create a style that caters to their lifestyle. As a native Spanish speaker, she is most comfortable in settings of linguistic diversity, and can do hair in both Spanish and English.

Meet Cristi.

A West Coast native who began her career in 2009 under former Vidal Sassoon instructor, Rowena Hiraga. Continuing education with Davines, Italian hair care company, Cristi refined her skills as an Educator and Color Expert. While in San Francisco she evolved to work behind the chair at Tailored Salon for several years before relocating to NYC. Behind the chair, Cristi is intentional with her clients, ensuring each person’s vision is taken into account for transformations large and small. Specializing in all styles and accommodating all persons across the spectrum is essential for the safe space Cristi aims to create.

Meet Danielle.

With a passion for non traditional fashion and beauty, Danielle set her goal high and headed for NYC early in her career. A transplant from Monterey ca, Danielle has made Brooklyn her home in career and residence for the last 5 and a half years. With advanced education from top professionals, she’s most in her zone with cutting curls, texturized looks and balayage color services. Her back ground isn’t one of specialization but more fine tuning and full understanding of the many specialty skills she’s learned along the way. Being a part of her community is also very important to her by way of being a hair resource of all varieties of people in her neighborhood. Priding herself on building long lasting relationships with her clientele, she’s never not looking for new opportunities and ways to make her clients feel like the best versions of themselves. On her free time she enjoys going long bike cruises across the 5 boroughs, taking in all the beauty, colors, and energy of people that made New York desirable to her since she could remember.
